Originally Zürcher Geschnetzeltes was cooked with cut veal but you can experiment with unusual meats. You may like your meat with noodles, rice, mashed potatoes or even pasta. Some cafes also offer Geschnetzeltes with small pieces of veal cooked in a creamy mushroom and white wine sauce.

Raclette: The dish comes from the olden times of the nation where due to climatic conditions; people could live off only meat and cheese, which they could preserve. Raclette is a traditional dish, served with gherkins or you can scrape off melting cheese from the grill and spoon it over your plate of meat and vegetables to relish it.
