Why does the hotel require my credit card details?

Every hotel requires credit card details of the customer as a form of security against any no show. In case you do not turn up at the reservation made earlier by you, the hotel will charge a nominal fee (usually a one day charge for the room). The credit card details are not parked with cheap-hotels.com and are neither parked at our partner websites. You can choose to fax your card details directly to the hotel if you do not wish to give your card details through the internet.

Can I make a booking in the hotel without a credit card?

Since the payments are made directly to the hotel or the booking engine you choosed, you can proceed with the hotel to initiate a cancellation of your reservation. Refunding the payment entirely depends upon the regulation of the hotel and is a private issue of the hotel. The hotel's contact information can be found in your reservation confirmation email.
