The lady Hamilton hotel is a very warm and friendly hotel located in the old town of Stockholm. Owned and managed by the Bengtsson Family since 1974 this 4-star hotel is a genuinely personal and a great location for your romantic evenings. The hotel is situated close to the Royal Palace and is within walking distance to the City. Tourists can find most of Stockholm’s sights and attractions in the neighboring areas of the hotel. The structure of the hotel depicts its historic importance which featured in the eighteenth century. The hotel’s dreamy atmosphere is characterized by the antique wall cabinets, antique aquavit bottles and traditional folk art paintings. The antiques displayed all over the hotel originally belong to the Dalarna Province. With so many features, this is no doubt a cheap hotel.

The hotel has a total of 34 rooms. Guests can choose between top floor, courtyard, corner, double and twin, single rooms and apartments. The cozy rooms are furnished to reflect the age of the building, including period desks and antique rustic cabinets. With a 2 m wide double bed and an en-suite bathroom that contains a shower, under floor heating and a heated towel rail, guests in the room can be sure of their stay to be comfortable. All rooms are individually decorated in a unique manner. While some of the rooms overlook the inner courtyard others offer views over one of the Old Town’s many winding lanes.

The restaurant bar ‘Bistro Emma’ also serves breakfast, snacks and other light dishes. Guests are advised to book their tables in advance. A special afternoon tea is served to all the guests staying in the hotel during weekends. Special lady rooms for those females who book singles rooms are available. These rooms are specially equipped with a make-up mirror, doors with safety chain and peep eye, a kettle to make tea or coffee and slippers. Some hair and skin products are given complimentary. The lady Hamilton hotel has subterranean sauna rooms which provide a secluded fireplace and a chance to take a dip in the medieval, stone-rimmed well that formerly supplied the building's water. The hotel also offers a business center, concierge, room service, babysitter, ironing and laundry service.
